Steph Rogers was a girl from Brooklyn, a science experiment, a USO star, and a soldier on the front lines. These days, she leads S.H.I.E.L.D.'s most effective and controversial team.

Or she used to.




Stephanie Grace Rogers is a few inches over six-feet, broad-shouldered with a modest hourglass figure. That's recent, of course, but the blonde hair, blue eyes, and stubborn chin have been a constant since birth, according to her mother. Born in 1917, studying to be a nurse in the 30s, fighting a war in the 40s, and now trying to survive the 21st century, Steph can always count on one thing to make her feel in control: that giant shield she carries that looks like a red, white, and blue dartboard.

The first successful subject of the Super Soldier Serum, Stephanie has enhanced strength, enhanced muscle tone, enhanced metabolism, enhanced memory, enhanced focus, and enhanced sass.

She might have been born with that last one, too.
