Steph startles at the laughter, not expecting it, but her expression blooms into a wide grin, laughing along with him. It had been a serious point, a conversation neither of them would enjoy, a gift she should offer for the trouble.

But he's right, too. Even if the schnapps won't do anything to either of them, it's the feel of the thing.

And the excuse to cackle a little about something so profoundly ridiculous.
